Senior Software Developer II - C.Net

Role Overview: Planful is looking for self-driven and passionate technical experts to join them in solving challenging problems in the EPM space. As part of the team, you will be responsible for improving code performance and maintainability, designing new features for the financial planning platform, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Improve the performance and maintainability of existing code by refactoring and optimizing specific components - Design and develop new features for the cloud-based financial planning and analysis platform - Test and debug software to ensure high-quality standards are met - Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow in their careers - Contribute to technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and user manuals Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of experience in software development, including ASP.NET/C#, with strong problem-solving skills - Solid foundation in computer science principles such as object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms - Proficiency in modern web development technologies like AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, J-Query, AngularJS or ReactJS, CSS, Responsive Design, web services, SQL, and/or No-SQL databases - Expertise in a range of technologies from front-end user interfaces to back-end systems - Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and databases - Ability to recognize and implement best practices in software engineering - Comfortable providing high and low-level work estimates - Engineering degree from a premium institute is an added advantage Additional Details (Company Information): Planful is the pioneer of financial performance management cloud software, with a platform used globally to streamline planning, budgeting, consolidations, reporting, and analytics.
