Senior Service Engineer (CT & MRI)

Job Summary:

The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure medical imaging equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and validate CT and MRI systems at client locations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues in CT & MRI scanners.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper system operation and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of all maintenance and repairs.
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior engineers and hospital staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
• Support spare parts management and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for technical support when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in servicing CT & MRI systems, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic equipment environment.
• Strong knowledge of imaging systems, electronics, and software applications.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for service and support.
• Certification from equipment manufacturers is a plus.
