Job Summary: The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure medical imaging equipment operates efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and validate CT and MRI systems at client locations. Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) to ensure optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues in CT & MRI scanners. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper system operation and patient safety. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of all maintenance and repairs. Provide training and technical guidance to junior engineers and hospital staff. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies. Support spare parts management and maintain adequate stock levels. Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for technical support when required. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 35 years of experience in servicing CT & MRI systems, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic equipment environment. Strong knowledge of imaging systems, electronics, and software applications. Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to client sites for service and support. Certification from equipment manufacturers is a plus.
