Senior Security Operations Center Engineer

The role of Senior Security Operations Center Engineer at our technology services client in Mumbai requires a dedicated professional with 4-8 years of experience in SOC, FAAS, CISCO, Cyber Security, Network Security, and Palo Alto. This position presents an opportunity for a contract-to-full-time employment transition following the initial contract period, with an immediate to 15-day notice period. As a Senior Security Operations Center Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing and enhancing security infrastructure, monitoring threat events, coordinating incident response, tracking vulnerability remediation efforts, and ensuring continuous assessment, improvement, and implementation of security technologies. You will be actively involved in SOC onboarding, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and security technology enhancements. Key responsibilities include providing extended support for SOC operations, onboarding new systems and tools into the SOC, assisting with incident response activities, tracking and reporting on vulnerability remediation efforts, assessing and improving existing security technologies, and exploring AI and automation solutions in cybersecurity. Additionally, you will be involved in evaluating, testing, and implementing new security technologies to enhance the organization's security capabilities while aligning with security goals.
