Senior Security Awareness & Training Associate

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate across functions and with subject matter experts to manage the creation and launch and metrics of engaging content for global security awareness initiatives.
  • Support the annual refresh of ZS's Security Awareness and Training Program, ensuring alignment with NIST 800-50 standards and relevant regulatory requirements to drive behavioral change and reduce risk.
  • Plan and execute monthly phishing simulations to assess ZSer awareness and improve response to phishing threats.
  • Initiate role-based training and communication offerings based on metrics and reporting.
  • Continue to enhance phishing maturity across ZS.
  • Contribute to the execution of a scalable and repeatable security strategy through automation and development of standard operating procedures and polices.
  • Partner with Information Security (IS) leads experts to co-create onsite awareness programs and related activities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual initiatives, such as Cybersecurity Month, World password day, etc, promoting global awareness based on emerging risk topics.
  • Measure adoption and awareness campaigns through internal ZS communication channels and coordinate with the IS community to amplify monthly programs.
  • Providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor ambassadors within the global ambassador program to support their engagement and development.
  • Drive program maturity through ongoing enhancements, updated content, feedback surveys, and innovative approaches.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the broader goals of the Security Awareness and Training Program.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, especially phishing, social engineering, and user behavior.
  • Experience with phishing simulation platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, KnowBe4, Cofense).
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and current threats, as well as the ability to stay up to date with emerging trends in the field.
  • Experience working within an Information Security Awareness and Training program.
  • Proficiency in creating multimedia content (e.g., presentations, videos, infographics) using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Creative thinker and ability to coordinate and execute programs with technical and non-technical associates.
  • Ability to create and review materials for global programs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to improve training effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in using training and collaboration tools (e.g., Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Trello).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information security, security awareness, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as SSAP, CISSP, CISA, or Security+ are a plus.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex security concepts into clear and concise messages.
  • Proven ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in planning and executing training programs is a plus.

Hybrid working model:
