Senior SDET

As a Senior SDET in the Information Technology department, your primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of software products across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and executing test plans using both manual and automated testing tools to detect and address defects. Additionally, proficiency in database testing is essential to ensure data integrity and reliability within the system. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Developing comprehensive test plans based on project specifications and designing test cases for web, mobile, API, and database testing. - Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements. - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Appium, executing automated test suites, and identifying opportunities for test automation. - Executing manual test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing, documenting and reporting defects, and conducting exploratory testing. - Performing end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications, validating API functionality, and ensuring compatibility across different browsers and mobile devices. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for automated testing and deployment, integrating automated tests into CI workflows, and optimizing CI processes. - Developing and executing SQL queries for database testing to validate data integrity, verify data transformations and migrations, and address performance issues related to database interactions. - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, participating in agile ceremonies, and providing input on quality-related aspects. - Maintaining detailed documentation of test cases, results, and issues, and updating testing documentation as the application evolves. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree. Your dedication to quality assurance, expertise in automation and manual testing, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.,
