Senior SDET

As a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with extensive experience in Core Java, Selenium, and API Automation, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your strong Java programming skills, hands-on experience with API automation (using REST, Karate), and proven track record of working with automation frameworks will be essential for success in this role. It is imperative that you have a deep understanding of handling JSON files and possess basic knowledge of Performance Testing (PT). Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for API and UI testing using Selenium, Java, and Karate. You will be expected to write, execute, and maintain test cases for REST API automation, handle JSON files for API testing and validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Additionally, you will perform SQL queries to verify database integrity, test backend processes, contribute to Performance Testing (PT) efforts, and identify, document, and track defects for resolution. Continuous improvement of automation processes to enhance test efficiency and coverage, as well as mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting best testing practices, are also key aspects of this role. The mandatory skills for this position include 7+ years of experience as an SDET with strong proficiency in Java and Selenium, 5+ years of experience in Core Java, expertise in API Automation using REST and Karate, strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks, experience with handling and validating JSON files, proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation, and basic knowledge of Performance Testing (PT) and its impact on system performance. Preferred qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests, familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and knowledge of version control tools like Git.,
