Senior Sales Manager

Candidate preference

First preference: poultry equipment sales experience, including cages, feeding, drinking, egg collection, manure removal, ventilation, silos or related farm systems, together with proven team management.

Alternative: agricultural machinery, industrial automation, capital equipment or comparable engineered B2B project sales, with strong team management and willingness to learn poultry systems. Poultry feed or medicine sales alone should be checked for equipment-project capability.

Requirements and responsibilities

1. Demonstrate how they have managed salespeople, allocated territories, reviewed pipelines and coached underperformance. Personal sales results alone do not establish leadership.

2. Qualify farm requirements and coordinate technically suitable proposals with engineering. Build farmer, owner, dealer and consultant relationships.

3. Negotiate within approved price and payment authority. Protect margin and separate orders booked from money collected.

4. Run weekly opportunity reviews with clear next actions, owners, dates and realistic order and collection forecasts.

5. Confirm scope, drawing revision, exclusions, site readiness, production dates and installation dependencies before commitments or handover.

6. Travel for farm visits, key accounts, dealer development and exhibitions under the agreed arrangements.

Preferred background

Suggested experience: 7 to 12 years of relevant sales, including meaningful team responsibility. A commercial, engineering, agriculture or related qualification helps; equivalent experience is acceptable.

Travel across India and abroad according to the agreed territory and schedule.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per month
