UI Engineer

Work location - Local to Kerala

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled UI Engineer to design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for our web and mobile applications
The ideal candi has strong technical expertise, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless, user- endly digital experiences You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring intuitive and visually appealing interfaces to life

Key Responsibilities

Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern front-end technologies

Translate UI/UX design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code

Work closely with designers to ensure technical feasibility and maintain design accuracy

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth user experiences

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and efficiency

Maintain and evolve component libraries and design systems

Identify and troubleshoot UI issues and performance bottlenecks

Ensure UI consistency across platforms and devices

Stay up-to- with emerging UI trends, frameworks, and best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2-5+ years of experience in UI development or front-end engineering

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
js

Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI performance optimization

Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration workflows

Knowledge of version control systems (eg Git)

Ability to collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript

Knowledge of design systems and component-driven development

Experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks (eg Styled Components, Emotion)

Exposure to UI testing frameworks (eg Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library)

Understanding of accessibility (WCAG guidelines) and SEO best practices

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
