Senior REST API/Java/Postgre SQL Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. Your role will involve leading the development and optimization of backend services using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut. You will also work on implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar technologies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions for our products and services. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) - Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools - Work with relational and NoSQL databases, primarily PostgreSQL - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar - Ensure adherence to software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices - Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance and reliability Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of professional backend development experience in Java - Strong expertise in Spring Boot or similar frameworks - Proven experience in designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs - Hands-on experience with Kafka - Experience with PostgreSQL and other relational or NoSQL databases - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
