Senior Resident (SR)-Radiology

Role Overview: As a Senior Resident (SR) in Radiology at Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMS&R), your responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiological procedures such as X-rays, Ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, etc. You will be interpreting imaging studies accurately to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, supervise and mentor junior residents and medical students, participate in clinical case discussions, departmental rounds, and inter-departmental meetings. Engaging in academic research, presenting findings, and contributing to continuous medical education activities while upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and ethical practice. Key Responsibilities: - Performing diagnostic radiological procedures such as X-rays, Ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, etc. - Interpreting imaging studies accurately to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment - Collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care - Supervising and mentoring junior residents and medical students, supporting their academic and clinical development - Participating in clinical case discussions, departmental rounds, and inter-departmental meetings - Engaging in academic research, presenting findings, and contributing to continuous medical education activities - Upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and ethical practice Qualification Required: - MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Radiology or DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Radiology - Solid expertise in diagnostic radiology and interpretation of imaging studies - Experience in supervising trainees and participating in academic teaching activities - Strong collaboration and communication skills with healthcare teams - Good organizational and time-management abilities - Commitment to patient-centric care, safety protocols, and professional ethics - Additional certifications or fellowship training in radiology are an added advantage.,
