II. JOB

To assist in the patient care by maintaining quality standards of the organisation.

III.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accompany Consultant doctors on IPD wards visit.
  • Conduct medical procedures under supervision after getting the consent from patients attendant.
  • Complete and correct documentation of patient files & records.
  • Check and authorize all diagnostic requisition slips.
  • Make available emergency medicines in Ward.
  • Monitor the Nursing care Proper Medication, timely vitals recording etc.
  • Attend to emergencies, and inform consultant doctors for further action.
  • Providing information regarding the patients condition to his/her attendant whenever required.
  • Check the diet chart, medicine chart, and vitals chart frequently.
  • Coordinate with all nursing/Paramedical & non-medical staff of the department to maintain a high standard of medical care for the patients.
  • Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
  • Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
  • Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-ups throughout patients care.
  • Perform and document physical examination and history.
  • Formulate a differential diagnosis.
  • Develops and documents an initial plan of care, modifies daily plan of care, and writes daily progress notes.
  • Obtain and document informed consent.
  • Prepare an appropriate discharge summary.
  • Follows Hospital policies at all times and seeks and provides inputs, as and when required.
  • Documentation - Proper documentation of all medical records related to patients according to quality standards (NABH).
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the management.

Minimum

Qualifications

  • MBBS, MD/MS/DNB on Obstetrics & Gynecology
