Senior React Native + Native Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS)

As a hands-on engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading and owning our React Native app. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating excellent React Native skills - Taking ownership of the end-to-end front and back end development, which involves building RN UI and native modules, defining and consuming REST APIs, and securely integrating existing company backend services at scale - Integrating native libraries such as AAR as required - Working with react-native-webview and react-native-youtube-iframe embeds - Implementing live streaming through HLS or alternate protocols using native players like exoplayer/avplayer, with features such as pre-fetching, caching, and encryption - Integrating Unity as a Library using RN Unity JSON messaging - Ensuring quality and releases through Crashlytics, performance profiling, Fastlane, and TestFlight/closed The qualifications required for this role are as follows: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile development - Expertise in React Native, including TypeScript and RN CLI, with a track record of shipping multiple apps on Android and iOS - Strong native development skills in Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Obj-C), with experience in custom RN bridges in production - Exposure to ExoPlayer/AVPlayer, live streaming, and HLS In addition, experience in Unity 3D AR-VR development would be considered a nice-to-have for this position.,
