Senior React Developer

the Role & responsibilities

• Independently design and implement responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser-compatible frontend solutions.
• Lead the development and evolution of a reusable React component library.
• Support day-to-day business requirements and enhance existing legacy web applications.
• Ensure clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code aligned with frontend best practices and standards.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Actively contribute to product innovation by proposing creative and technically sound solutions.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members on frontend architecture, UX principles, and modern React practices.
• Participate confidently in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing modern web applications using React with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong experience in building and maintaining unit and integration tests using tools such as Vitest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with State Management Libraries.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/Sass, and modern build tools such as Gulp and Vite.
• Experience designing and implementing design systems, including documentation using Storybook.
• Proven experience developing new applications using modern frameworks such as Next.js.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
• Ability to work on and extend existing systems using Vanilla JavaScript, Velocity Templates, and jQuery.
• Proficient in version control using Git/GitLab.
• Strong interest in new technologies and trends in frontend development.
• Proactive in staying up to date with evolving tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• A collaborative team player with an openness to new ideas and a passion for agile ways of working.
• Comfortable working in agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
