Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Exposure to Single-Use Device NPD Cycle (at least 1 product; concept to commercialization) Hands-on experience in test method development Statistics and Minitab. Understanding of Mechanical engineering concepts/ first principle Knowledge of material sciences and processing Metals, Polymers, Plastics. The candidate should be able to apply knowledge of materials and processes to design Setting technical specifications & Design requirements Nice to have Exposure to testing and programming equipment like UTM Understanding of design considerations (injection moulding and extrusion) Catheter design Windchill Tolerance stack up Project management with proficiency in MS projects or similar tools. Working knowledge of ANSYS or any other analysis software tool. Working understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA etc Skill Set: Must have - Strong Mech Design (Medical Domain) in NPD activities /Cycle, Design and Development of Plastic desing & manufacturing Material sciences and processing - Metals, Polymers, Plastic knowledge, Mechanical engineering concepts/ first principle CAD -Solidworks , Tool Stackup, ECN/ECR Keywords & Tools: Product Development in medical device - NPD Cycle/ RnD Design phases Mechanical engineering concepts/ first principles Testing and programming equipment like UTM SolidWorks, CATIA, Statistics and Minitab. PLM Windchill & Analysis software tool
