Role & responsibilities:

Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Design, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.
• Perform testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Execute all levels of testing including but not limited to: System, Integration, and Performance Testing for both Black Box and White Box testing.
• Identify, isolate, report, and track product defects to closure.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Establish and enforce QA best practices, methodologies, and standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior testers to enhance their skills and efficiency.
• Coordinate and maintain test environments, ensuring they replicate production conditions.
• Track and report key QA metrics such as defect densities, test coverage, and execution progress.
• Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards Verify that software meets regulatory and security requirements as per industry standards.
• Define Test Plan for Sprints and participate in sprint planning.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Soft Skills:

• Familiarity with telecommunications technologies and protocols.
• Experience in performance testing for AI systems.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, and bias testing frameworks.
