Senior Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Identify and document non-conformities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, documentation, and records.
• Train and mentor junior QC engineers and inspectors.
• Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.
• Liaise with clients and third-party auditors during inspections and audits.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, tools, and methodologies (ISO, ASME, ASTM).
• Proficiency in inspection techniques and usage of measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong decision-making ability under pressure and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Team leadership and mentoring skills to guide QC engineers/inspectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
