Senior Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Monitoring day to day activities for QC and job delegation.
• To co-ordinate with Machine shop, Assembly, Design & Purchase department related to Manifold block, HPU, quality related problem of incoming material etc and clarity for the same.
• Responsible to maintain the records of inspection reports.
• Responsible for the calibration activity of instruments and gauges.
• Responsible to convey the inspection reports of the products to the customers for approval/inspection and receiving their dispatch clearance.
• To prepare QAP and check sheets for critical projects.
• To attend customer's complaints of quality problem and solving the same through interaction with concerned department.
• To guide all subordinate engineers.
• Preparing vendor performance report based on incoming material quality and submitting to concerned department and maintaining records for the same.
• To co-ordinate and help other departments as and when required.
• Responsible for recording and issuing of motor test certificate to concerned department.
• Signing of invoices related to quality acceptance for incoming material.
• Submission of weekly pending short supply status of dispatched products and unclosed NC to Purchase department for monitoring and closing.
• Responsible to prepare indent for Q.C. department for different Instruments and Gauges.
