Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain

  test automation frameworks

  and

  automation strategy

  .
• Design, script, and execute

  automated test cases

  across different platforms.
• Maintain and update

  regression and smoke test suites

  in collaboration with Scrum teams.
• Analyze

  daily smoke

  and

  nightly regression test results

  to ensure stability.
• Link

  manual test cases

  from

  TestRail

  to

  automated scripts

  using

  TestComplete

  .
• Create, manage, and optimize automation packs and frameworks.
  
• Continuously identify and implement opportunities to

  optimize test scripts

  .
• Conduct

  peer reviews

  for test automation code and ensure code quality.
• Document and maintain

  end-to-end automation processes

  and standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams.
  
• Drive

  automation best practices

  and mentor other QA engineers.

Key Requirements

• Strong understanding of

  STLC

  and

  Agile methodologies

  .
• Hands-on experience with:
  

• SmartBear TestComplete

• Selenium

  (IDE, WebDriver, Grid)

• TestRail

• API testing tools

• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  using

  Azure DevOps

  .
• Proficient in programming with

  C# (preferred)

  , also comfortable with

  Java

  and

  Python

  .
• Experience in:
  

• Version control systems

  (Git, SVN, CVS)

• Visual Studio

  and test development tools
• Working with

  Excel, Databases, and File Handling

• Exposure to tools like

  Appium

  ,

  Ranorex

  , etc.
• Strong foundation in

  OOP concepts

  , test design, and test data management.
• Excellent

  communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  .
• Ability to

  work independently

  and as part of a

  diverse QA team

  .

Nice to Have

• Advanced ISTQB certification.
  
• Experience working in

  DevOps and cloud-based environments

  .
• Performance or mobile testing experience.
