Job Description

Minimum 5 years experience as a QA Engineer in
product based
companies
Strong expertise in
manual testing
, test case design, defect life cycle management
Experience testing web, mobile (if applicable) and API endpoints
Good understanding of QA best practices, test planning, regression, edge cases
Ability to write clear, concise
bug reports and test documentation
Must use own
laptop or PC
and have a
stable internet connection
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English
Self driven, able to work independently in a remote setup

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and execute detailed
test plans

test cases
, and test suites
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Report, track, and validate defects through the full life cycle
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
Provide feedback on usability, edge cases, risk areas
Sign off on releases based on testing outcomes and quality metrics
Log and maintain test documentation and knowledge base
