Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer at Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks primarily using Selenium with TestNG. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks using Selenium with TestNG. - Building, optimizing, and scaling automated test scripts for regression, functional, integration, and system testing. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test automation strategies. - Performing code reviews for test automation scripts and ensuring adherence to best practices. - Continuously improving test coverage, reliability, and execution speed. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality in every release. - Investigating and debugging test failures, analyzing root causes, and providing timely resolutions. - Mentoring junior QA team members when needed, while functioning as an individual contributor. - Supporting occasional weekend (Saturday) work for critical releases. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in test automation with expertise in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and test automation best practices. - Solid experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent) for developing automation scripts. - Hands-on experience with API automation using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or similar) and version control systems (Git). - Good knowledge of frameworks for test automation build management. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. As an individual contributor with deep technical expertise, strong ownership of deliverables, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, scalable automation.
