Role Overview: You will be joining Cuzorlabs, a passionate product design startup dedicated to reshaping consumer electronics. The company, based in India, takes pride in designing products end-to-end and aims to become the preferred brand for Indian consumers and beyond. Cuzorlabs began its journey with Li-Ion-based UPS systems, quickly capturing a remarkable 40% market share online within just two years. As part of a small but ambitious team of engineers, you will work towards creating exceptional consumer products with a global impact through collaboration with technology leaders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans and test cases for power electronics products such as UPS systems, chargers, adapters, and smart power devices. - Perform functional, reliability, performance, and stress testing on prototypes and production units. - Build automation frameworks in Python for regression, system validation, and long-duration tests. - Automate data collection, logging, and analysis for power quality, thermal behavior, and battery performance. - Validate firmware/hardware integration, including edge cases and fault scenarios. - Conduct compliance pre-checks (safety, EMI/EMC, surge protection) and support certification testing. - Own the test infrastructure, including equipment setup, calibration, and automation rigs. - Document defects clearly, collaborate with engineers to reproduce/debug issues, and drive resolutions. - Ensure products meet quality, reliability, and certification standards before release. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in hardware testing for power electronics. - Hands-on experience with testing tools like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters. - Strong understanding of power electronics principles, including switching devices, circuit design, and thermal management. - Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages. - Knowledge of testing processes and tools like Jira. - Understanding of safety and compliance standards in power electronics.
