Senior Quality Analyst

The QA Analyst role at Merkle requires 3 to 6 years of experience and involves acting as the intermediary between the development team and clients to ensure that deliverables align with client expectations and requirements throughout the project life cycle. The analyst becomes a subject matter expert for the project. Key responsibilities include writing test plans, designing test cases, developing test SQL scripts, and testing procedures with a focus on DWH and Database testing. They must possess proficiency in SQL, ETL testing, debugging differences, translating requirements into test cases, and utilizing SQL language and Data Warehousing principles. Good communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder communication. Desired skills include familiarity with Cloud technologies, experience with JIRA and Agile, testing SOAP/API projects, stakeholder communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Certification in AWS/AZURE/GCP or Snowflake Associate/Core is preferred. The QA Analyst is responsible for performing functional, regression, load, system, and user acceptance testing, creating test data, tracking and reporting defects using tools like JIRA, validating fixes, investigating data quality conditions, and communicating test status to the internal project team and clients. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree or an equivalent degree. The shift timings are 12 PM to 9 PM and/or 2 PM to 11 PM in the IST time zone. The position is based at DGS India - Mumbai - Thane Ashar IT Park, operating under the Merkle brand on a full-time permanent contract basis.,
