Role Overview: As a Senior QC Lab in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry, your primary responsibility will be to perform all QC tests related to Reactive Dyes in both powder and liquid forms. You will be operating and managing Datacolor equipment for precise shade matching, executing matching, toning, and topping, as well as maintaining shade cards and standards. Additionally, you will be conducting tests such as TLC, multi-fiber tests, and assessing fastness properties including wash, rub, light, and perspiration. Your role will also involve QC for Reactive Printing Dyes and relevant auxiliaries, preparing and maintaining test reports, COAs, and retain samples, while ensuring adherence to SOP and compliance standards. Collaboration with the Production and R&D teams for troubleshooting and continuous improvement will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform all QC tests related to Reactive Dyes (powder & liquid forms) - Operate and manage Datacolor equipment for precise shade matching - Execute matching, toning, topping; maintain shade cards/standards - Conduct TLC, multi-fiber tests, and assess fastness properties - Perform QC for Reactive Printing Dyes and relevant auxiliaries - Prepare and maintain test reports, COAs, and retain samples - Ensure SOP and compliance adherence - Collaborate with Production/R&D for troubleshooting and continuous improvement Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Chemical Manufacturing Industry - Proficiency in performing QC tests related to Reactive Dyes - Experience with operating Datacolor equipment for shade matching - Strong knowledge of fastness properties testing - Ability to prepare and maintain test reports and COAs - Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills Please note that the job is a permanent position located in Ahmedabad.
