Senior QA TestEngineer(Cypress,Playwright,Katalon Studio,C#.Net/Python

About the Role We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium (C#.NET / Python) , Cypress , Playwright , Katalon Studio , and CI/CD tools . You will be responsible for driving automation initiatives, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through efficient testing practices. Key Responsibilities Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Selenium (C#.NET/Python), PyTest, Cypress, Playwright, and Katalon Studio. API Testing : Implement and maintain automated API tests and integrate them into the overall test strategy. CI/CD Integration : Work closely with DevOps to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Test Strategy & Planning : Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria. Quality Ownership : Advocate for quality across all stages of the SDLC; identify test gaps and potential risks early. Mentorship : Guide and support junior QA engineers in learning automation frameworks, test design, and troubleshooting. Continuous Improvement : To optimize QA efficiency, evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices. Collaboration : A key liaison between development, QA, and operations teams for smooth delivery. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a proven track record in: Selenium + C#.NET Selenium + Python + PyTest Cypress, Playwright, Katalon Studio Strong experience in REST API test automation . Cloud Test Execution Skills - BrowserStack, LambdaTest, etc. Strong understanding of Gen-AI/LLMS/Agents/etc. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. Good understanding of SDLC , Agile , TDD , and BDD methodologies. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to articulate technical details to technical and non-technical stakeholders. A passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
