Senior QA Engineer / SDET

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Nexaminds, you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, recommending changes to predetermined quality guidelines, and ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional, and user-friendly. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers and Jr QA Engineers. The ideal candidate for this role will have more than 5 years of relevant QA technical experience using automation tools. You should possess hands-on experience with testing tools and methodologies, proficiency in testing Microsoft-centric solutions such as the .NET framework, C#, and SQL Server, experience with UI testing and front-end testing techniques and tools, familiarity with Agile/Kanban development methodologies and Azure DevOps, proficiency in Rest API testing including functional, automated, and performance testing, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Hands-on experience with Microsoft testing tools, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Test Manager, Agile/Kanban Development Methodologies, and Azure DevOps will be beneficial for this role. Your job duties will include designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, documenting software defects using a bug tracking system, identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, participating in product design reviews, documenting test procedures, conducting software compatibility tests, monitoring bug resolution efforts, reviewing software documentation, providing feedback and recommendations to developers, creating or maintaining databases of known test defects, installing and using software testing programs, installing and configuring software production environments for testing, and monitoring program performance to ensure efficient operations.
