Senior QA Engineer - IoT

As a Senior QA Engineer at a renowned Multinational Telecommunications Company, you will play a crucial role in testing connected devices, firmware, companion apps, and cloud interfaces to ensure high-quality IoT experiences for global users. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and executing scripts for functional UI/UX, AI model automation, and testing on SW applications - Conducting internationalization testing and language-dependent functional validation - Testing IoT-specific interaction patterns and expanded UI features - Collaborating with product/design teams to review designs and ensure layout accuracy - Performing regression, sanity, and debugging analysis for validation, OTA firmware update testing - Logging defects clearly and tracking issues through resolution - Developing detailed test plans, cases, and reports - Reproducing complex defects with engineering teams - Analyzing data to drive testing process improvements - Mentoring QA team members on IoT best practices, workflows, and tooling Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Masters preferred - 5+ years of software QA experience - 3+ years of IoT devices or embedded systems experience - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, and C++ - Knowledge of software development tools like Android Studio and Jenkins - Familiarity with MLOps Tools including NeptuneAI, MLFLow, PyTorch, Diffusers, and Transformers - Deep learning expertise - Understanding of responsive/adaptive design principles and large-screen UX requirements - Strong experience in testing across various devices, resolutions, and form factors - Ability to analyze complex UI behaviors and identify root-cause issues - Experience in defining test strategies, improving QA processes, and collaborating with product/engineering leads - Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and influence cross-functional teams You will also work with the following tech stack: - Protocols: Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, WiFi, NFC, MQTT - Testing Tools: Firmware flashing tools, Bluetooth sniffers, network analyzers, UART logs, serial monitors - Automation: Python scripts, Robot Framework, UIAutomator - Companion App Tools: Appium, Android Studio, Xcode - Cloud Tools: AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT, MQTT Explorer - Diagnostics: Wireshark, packet sniffers - Test Management: Jira Please note that the client information will be disclosed during the interview process.,
