Senior QA Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing product requirements and technical documentation to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. You will execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. Additionally, you will automate high-value test scenarios using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript, maintaining and enhancing the existing test automation suite for front-end and API layers. API test scripts using tools like Axios or similar tools will be written and maintained by you, along with running backend validation checks using common database tools and queries. Reporting defects with detailed steps and logs, verifying fixes, and collaborating with the development team to triage issues and reproduce bugs are essential parts of your role. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing QA estimates and input during sprint planning. Ensuring test coverage and quality gates are upheld during CI/CD deployments will also be a key responsibility. Requirements: - You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in software QA with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. - Solid experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation is necessary. - Strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript programming are required. - Familiarity with API testing using tools like Axios, Postman, or Playwright fixtures is expected. - Understanding of backend/database testing and basic SQL is essential. - Experience working in Agile teams and actively contributing to sprints is a must. - Comfort with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions is preferred. - Ability to work independently with strong ownership of assigned modules is crucial.
