Job Description

Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript,

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript CLI applications and Nuxt-based WebUI.
Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks and tools using industry-standard technologies.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high product quality through proactive testing and early bug detection.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Investigate test failures and bugs, and work with developers to resolve them quickly.
Utilize your knowledge of networking and serial communication protocols to validate product functionality in complex environments.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile processes.
Document and report test results clearly and effectively, providing detailed feedback to the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

9+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, including extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
2+ years experience testing command-line applications/services.
2+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing suites/frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Strong ability to write and maintain tests for both CLI tools and Nuxt WebUI.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and familiarity with serial communications (e.g., UART, RS232, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and cloud services.
Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or embedded systems testing.
