Job Overview:

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust

  automation test scripts using Cypress

  with

  JavaScript/TypeScript

• Perform thorough

  UI automation testing

  by utilising a strong understanding of

  HTML, CSS, and DOM structure

• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman

  or

  Cypress's built-in API commands

• Integrate automation tests into

  CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
• Investigate and debug test failures, document defects clearly, and follow through to resolution
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and test environments to support scalable testing

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Cypress

  and

  JavaScript/TypeScript

• Good understanding of

  HTML, CSS

  , and

  DOM

• Proficient in

  API testing

  using Postman or Cypress

• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Solid communication skills to collaborate across teams
• Experience working with

  CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

  (mandatory)
• Familiarity with

  Git

  or other version control systems
