Senior QA Automation Engineer (C & .NET)

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks using C#, .NET, NUnit, SpecFlow, and Selenium WebDriver. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure continuous quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve owning the end-to-end automation strategy for web, API, and backend systems, as well as building and maintaining test pipelines in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Root cause analysis and issue resolution will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to best practices. To be successful in this role, you must have strong coding experience in C# and .NET, expertise in Selenium WebDriver, NUnit/xUnit, and REST API testing tools like Postman or RestSharp. A good understanding of OOP principles, debugging, and version control systems such as Git is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and defect management tools like JIRA and Azure Boards is also required. Exposure to performance or load testing would be beneficial. Additionally, it would be nice to have experience with SpecFlow for BDD in .NET, testing applications hosted on Azure or other cloud platforms, and knowledge of security testing, code reviews, or DevSecOps practices.
