Senior QA Analyst

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test scenarios. Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality, performance, and reliability. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues. Document defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues on time. Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases. Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation. Provide technical assistance and mentorship to QA team members on test automation tools, frameworks, and processes. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional development team. Required Qualification & Skills: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation. Should have prior experience in automation framework design and development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, API Automation tools etc. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, and REST Assured. Proficiency in Web, Mobile and API Automation. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Circle CI), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
