Job Title: Senior Python Software Architect Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 10-15 Years Industry: Software Development / AI & Cloud Infrastructure Reports To: Director of Engineering / CTO Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Python Software Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep Python expertise, a strong grasp of modern API frameworks like FASTAPI, and a passion for building GenAI agentic systems. You will play a critical role in shaping the architecture of reusable microservices, guiding engineering best practices, and integrating advanced telemetry and observability into our platforms. Key Responsibilities Architect and develop robust Python-based backend systems using modern design patterns and best practices. Extend and customize FASTAPI internals to meet complex business requirements. Design and implement secure authentication flows using Azure AD, OAuth2, and API security best practices. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes-based environments. Integrate and extend GenAI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, including agent creation and telemetry instrumentation. Lead architectural decisions for reusable microservice templates and backend infrastructure. Implement asynchronous programming models using async/await, event-driven patterns, and concurrency control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and maintainable system design. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, design sessions, and technical documentation. Must-Have Qualifications 1015 years of professional experience in Python development. Deep understanding of Python meta-programming (decorators, context managers, dynamic class creation). Expertise in software design patterns (Factory, Adapter, Faade, Iterator, etc.). Advanced knowledge of FASTAPI, including customization and internal extension. Experience with Azure Authentication, OAuth2, and secure API design. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Hands-on experience with LangChain or LangGraph, including telemetry integration (e.g., OpenTelemetry). Proven leadership in system architecture and reusable service design. Strong background in asynchronous programming and event-driven systems.
