Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python and backend development, along with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. You will work on scalable, high-performance systems and play a key role in system architecture, design, and development.

Experience: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Mumbai

Mode of Work: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python.

Design and implement complex algorithms and data structures.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django.

Handle file processing, including XML parsing, large file handling, and data transformation.

Write clean, modular, and testable code with unit tests using PyTest.

Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure efficient database interaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.

Contribute to architecture discussions and improve service design for performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Python (Backend only).

Deep understanding of OOPs, Data Structures, and Algorithms.

Hands-on experience with Django, NumPy, and other relevant libraries.

Experience in unit testing, particularly with PyTest.

Proven expertise in parsing XML files, working with file systems and large data files.

Strong SQL skills performance tuning, writing stored procedures, and database optimization.

Knowledge of Service Design Concepts and familiarity with functional programming principles.

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have Skills:

Experience with other backend technologies or microservices architecture.

Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.).

CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
