Senior Python Developer

As a member of Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), you will be part of the world's largest telematics service provider with a mission to enhance road safety globally. Our AI-driven platform, DriveWell Fusion, collects sensor data from various IoT devices like smartphones, proprietary Tags, connected vehicles, dashcams, and third-party devices. By merging this data with contextual information, we aim to offer a comprehensive overview of vehicle and driver behavior. Your responsibilities will include solving intricate problems and converting them into effective business solutions through collaboration with team members. You will analyze and translate business and functional specifications into technical specifications suitable for implementation. Additionally, you should be capable of independently breaking down complex technical requirements into manageable components and developing software solutions that are efficient, maintainable, scalable, reliable, and testable. Participation in code and design reviews, mentoring junior developers, adhering to company standards, providing on-call support during critical scenarios, and addressing production issues are also part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least 2 years of relevant professional engineering experience. Experience with large-scale development focusing on high throughput and low latency, quick problem-solving skills, teamwork ability, and proficiency in technologies such as Python, Django or Flask, AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and web application development are desired.
