Senior Python Automation QA

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Agile (Scrum) team, ensuring the quality of the software by performing standard testing activities with a focus on enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Building new test automation frameworks and setting up test environments - Automating test scripts and cases using existing automation testing framework - Debugging and running automation test suites for various testing areas such as SEO, regression, end-to-end, DB, API, performance, and email testing - Collaborating with Engineering teams and Product Managers to incorporate quality into the product development process and assisting developers in issue resolution - Taking ownership of executing, reporting, and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline - Advocating for testable and functional software designs to uphold quality design principles - Collaborating with Engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure the highest product quality Qualifications required for this role: - 5+ years of software testing experience in a QA automation or QA engineering role - Experience with Agile development methodologies and regression testing - 4+ years of hands-on experience with API Automation, Selenium, Python, Pytest, etc. - Familiarity with version controls and repositories (Git/CircleCI) - Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipeline within release management - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Experience in creating testing frameworks from scratch - Knowledge of SQL is a plus - Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude - Excellent time management and attention to detail Life at Next: At Next, the core mission is to empower customers to achieve their goals by tailoring growth and enabling transformation of aspirations into tangible outcomes.
