Senior Procurement Analyst (Product Cost Out)

The Productivity compression IMB in Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry Division plays a crucial role in driving cost-out projects, ensuring cost savings for the cost estimating and sales organizations. Your responsibilities will involve enhancing the competitiveness and profitability of compression product line Turbo & reciprocating compressors, as well as supporting overall productivity and sustainable savings targets. You will be responsible for creating productivity projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing reports to achieve these goals. Your impact will be seen through developing and monitoring the fulfillment of frame contracts, achieving productivity targets, and conducting benchmarks. It is essential to ensure that product cost-out initiatives are accurately input and tracked using relevant software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and extensive knowledge of purchasing fundamentals are desired. Collaborating effectively in teams, demonstrating flexibility, establishing priorities, and maintaining error-free purchasing data are key aspects of this role. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Petroleum) and have a minimum of 5-8 years of industry experience in roles such as Application Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Process Engineer, Design Engineer, or Product Engineer. Experience with turbomachinery or related rotating equipment is advantageous, along with a working knowledge of how design decisions impact cost and schedule.
