Senior Process Engineer Utility & Offsite

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

Senior Process Engineer is a member of the project management Team who is responsible to work independently and also for overseeing the process aspect of projects and for coordinating the project process team at the FEED, EPC to Operation phase, Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis,

development of process options and optimization of selected design.

Responsible for performing all aspects of process engineering and design, Responsible to calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets (PFDs and P&IDs) including instrumentation and control system, Review projects, process design and detailed engineering documents (including P&ID, PFD) provided by Licensors or FEED or EPC contractors, provide comments and ensure resolution, Review the process unit operations, sizing calculations for pressure relieving devices, hydraulic calculation for fluid vapor circuits. Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design. Review specification and operating parameters process equipment including cooling tower system, steam generation system, Air system, Instrument air system, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, flare system, fire water system, ASU system, Injection package, pumps and compressors, Provide appropriate guidance as necessary with regard to local legislation, codes and standard and technical requirements. Review petrochemical and refining processes and unit operations. Review specifications and operating parameters for process equipment including distillation columns, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and fired heaters. Review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and heat and material balance to define project scope. Review &calculates and organizes data for process flow sheets (PFDs & P&ID's) including instrumentation and control considerations. Manage direct reports including managing work allocation, training, mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.

Responsible to Participate in QRA/HAZOP/HSEIA/ HAZID/SIL Review sizing calculations for pressure relieving devices for system over pressure protection. Review and perform hydraulic calculations for fluid and vapor circuits. Maintains effective communication with project team members.Advise the Engineering Manager ahead of issues becoming critical and provide recommendations to improve these issues. Work report to Lead process Engineer and Project Manager.
