Senior Process Engineer- Polyolefins

As a Chemical Engineering Technologist specializing in Cracker and Vinyl processes, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing to achieve performance targets. Your key responsibilities will include leading the technological analysis of complex process and engineering issues, proposing enhancements to current processes and technologies for increased efficiency and capacity, and identifying and prioritizing plant improvements for various projects. You will be involved in reviewing process-engineering documents, evaluating external technologies for improvement schemes and new plants, preparing design basis documents, participating in hazard analysis reviews, evaluating vendor proposals, and overseeing the development of operation manuals and standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating catalysts, chemicals, additives, and fuels, auditing and benchmarking plant performance, ensuring successful pilot and scale-up studies, anticipating technological trends, participating in commercial plant trials, and developing and maintaining simulation models. Your role will also require active participation in Process Safety Management activities, coaching and mentoring junior team members, and contributing to technology network meetings within the organization. Your expertise in chemical engineering, process technology, and relevant standards will be essential in independently addressing technical challenges and providing expert insights to drive continuous improvement. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, possess 8-12 years of industrial experience with a strong technical background, and exhibit effective communication skills. A Reliance Certified Chemical Engineer (RCCE) certification would be advantageous, and experience in both operational and technological aspects is highly desirable for this role.,
