Senior Power BI Developer

As part of our team, we are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our Mangalore office in India and contribute to our growth journey. In this role, you will be pivotal in constructing, developing, and maintaining our newly established Power BI platform to meet business requirements and stay at the forefront of best practices and technologies. Working alongside our dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing transparency, data accessibility, and enabling off-the-shelf data visualization for the business. Your responsibilities will include structuring and processing data to extract insights, visualizing and effectively communicating data across the organization, integrating data from various sources to support decision-making, enhancing tools and processes for improved data management, mentoring and collaborating with team members, and ensuring the maintenance of the current and future Power BI platform. To excel in this role, you should possess essential technical skills such as data analysis, visualization, dashboard development, data modeling, and query optimization using Power BI. Moreover, you should collaborate with other teams, provide training and support to users, and have experience working at an international SaaS company with a good understanding of business financial processes. Non-technical skills and experience required include the ability to self-manage, capture and comprehend internal business requirements, design and implement Power BI solutions, produce solution design documentation, support finance colleagues, maintain good relationships with business units/end users, and have a finance or accountancy background. Proficiency in English, structured approach, persistence, and result-driven mindset are also essential.
