Senior Performance Test Engineer, Enterprise Technology Services

Role Overview: As a Performance Test Engineer at Dr. Martens, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing performance test strategies and frameworks across products and services. You will be responsible for developing and executing various types of performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Additionally, you will collaborate with different teams to analyze system performance and optimize it for better efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement performance test strategies and frameworks - Develop and execute performance, load, volume, stress, and endurance tests - Author and maintain complex test scripts using JavaScript, Groovy, or other supported languages - Build and maintain performance pipelines integrated with CI/CD tools - Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to analyze bottlenecks and optimize system performance - Perform monitoring using profiling tools like AppInsights, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana - Define performance SLAs and KPIs, baseline results, track them over builds, and provide insights - Run, analyze, baseline, and report performance test results Qualifications Required: - 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering - Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, processes, tools & systems - Proficiency in JMeter and/or LoadRunner or any other performance testing tool - Scripting experience in JavaScript or Groovy - Experience in building automated performance test pipelines within CI/CD environments - Ability to analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning solutions - Familiarity with cloud performance testing (Azure, AWS) - Deep understanding of performance engineering concepts - Hands-on experience with app monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, App Insights etc. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Additional Company Details: At Dr. Martens, the core values of Rebellious Self Expression are upheld through the principles of BE YOURSELF, ACT COURAGEOUSLY, and SHOW YOU CARE.
