Job Description

As an experienced PCB/Hardware Design Engineer, your role will involve leading the design of mobile device hardware based on ARM platforms such as Rockchip, MediaTek, Qualcomm, and more. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing schematics and multilayer PCBs for tablet and smartphone devices. - Working with ARM SoC reference designs to develop custom hardware. - Handling high-speed interfaces like DDR, MIPI-DSI/CSI, USB, HDMI, PCIe with signal integrity and impedance control. - Developing power management systems, battery charging, and PMIC integration. - Integrating wireless modules such as WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G/5G, GPS. - Collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and software teams for complete product delivery. - Overseeing prototyping, validation, and debugging of hardware. - Working with ODM/OEM vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - At least 5 years of experience in PCB and hardware design for consumer electronics, specifically tablets and smartphones. - Proven track record with ARM-based SoCs like Rockchip, MediaTek, Qualcomm. - Expertise in high-speed PCB layout, DDR routing, EMI/EMC compliance. - Proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, etc. - Strong understanding of tablet/mobile hardware architecture. - Hands-on experience with battery management systems, PMICs, and charging circuits. - Strong debugging and validation skills. Nice to have qualifications include direct experience in tablet/smartphone product development, familiarity with Android hardware bring-up, and experience working with ODM/OEM partners in China/Taiwan.,
