• High speed PCB design
• HDI board design
• Experience with EDA tool Altium Designer 24, Allegro optional
• DFM, DFT, DFA design consideration

Tasks of the position:

• Library management and component review.
• Multilayer high speed layout design and review.
• Floor planning, component placement and layout design.
• Cross team collaboration hardware, mechanical for smooth board design.
• Stack up building, design rule constraints and impedance control considerations and settings for layout.
• Generating design output Job files including Assembly, fabrication data for EMS and PCB Fabrication plants.
• Should be able to resolve engineering queries (EQs) and collaborate with multiple PCB fabrication houses
• Interact with customers and vendors globally.
• Should be a problem solver, responsible and have good communication skills.

Knowledge:

• Must have professional experience in multilayer Board up to 12 layers.
• Must have worked in design environment for complete Hardware development life cycle (HDLC).
• Good hands-on high-speed PCB Layout and should have working knowledge on fan out of SOCs and BGA packages.
• Component library creation, review, and library management in workspace.
• Must have layout experience with memory interfaces DDR3, LPDDR4, other high-speed interfaces like PCIE, USB, ETHERNET, FPD link, LVDS, SERDES.
• Good hands-on Stack ups, via technologies like blind, buried, micro vias
• Must know digital, analog, and mixed signal circuit design layout.
• knowledge of IPC2221 standard for PCB Design.
• Basic knowledge of EMI/EMC Compliant and considerations in PCB Layout.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity and High-Speed PCB design concepts.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 - 6 years as layout engineer in the automotive industry.
