Senior Oracle Engineer (EBS)

Role Overview: As a member of the Technology team at our company, you will play a crucial role in customizing, configuring, and supporting Oracle EBS financial modules to enhance efficiency and align with business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless system operations in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain customizations for AP, AR, and GL modules. - Modify Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL procedures, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for custom solutions and enhancements in financial processes. - Develop custom Oracle BI Publisher reports for AP, AR, and GL modules to support business needs. - Develop and manage interfaces between finance modules and other internal or third-party systems, including bank integration. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures for accurate financial reporting. - Assist in reconciliation of AP, AR, and GL during close periods to ensure accuracy. - Ensure seamless integration between subledger and General Ledger for accurate financial reporting. - Collaborate with functional consultants to align customizations with financial business processes. - Optimize PL/SQL procedures, concurrent requests, and report performance for faster processing in financial modules. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS focusing on AP, AR, and GL modules, with advantage in Oracle EBS 12.2. - Extensive experience in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF). - Experience with BI Publisher for creating custom financial reports. - Knowledge of accounting principles and their implementation in Oracle EBS. - Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL) including subledger accounting, journal import, and account reconciliation. - Experience with Oracle Concurrent Processing and troubleshooting processes in AP, AR, and GL modules. - Familiarity with Oracle EBS patching, security patching, and application maintenance.
