Senior Node.js Developer

Your role as a Senior Node.js Developer will involve architecting and building scalable APIs, services, and infrastructure to support high-performance AI-driven applications. Collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps, and data teams will be crucial to ensure seamless functionality for modern AI-first products. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks. - Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data-driven and real-time applications. - Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and data teams to develop end-to-end solutions. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Integrate with third-party services and internal microservices. - Apply best practices in code quality, testing (unit/integration), and continuous integration/deployment. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring and alerting solutions. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js. - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and strong experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). - Strong understanding of API security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and rate limiting. - Experience building scalable microservices and working with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Familiarity with containerized applications using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes. - Proficient in using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices. - Solid understanding of performance tuning, caching, and system design.
