Senior Node.js Developer

As a Smart Node.js (NestJS) Developer with 3.5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for: - Developing high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS in a modular, scalable architecture. - Working in AI-powered development environments (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Codeium) to increase velocity and quality. - Using prompt-based coding techniques to generate, refactor, or optimize code with AI assistance. - Building APIs, services, and features that align with AI-first development strategy. - Collaborating with product, AI, and frontend teams to bring intelligent workflows into enterprise-grade platforms. - Ensuring code quality, performance, and security using modern testing and DevOps practices. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 3.5 years of backend development experience in Node.js with NestJS. - Strong understanding of prompt engineering and prompt-based solution development. - Proven ability to integrate AI features like NLP, classification, automation, and smart decisioning via APIs. - Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and scalable backend systems. - Experience working in enterprise-level development environments with code modularity and architecture ownership. - Strong debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization skills. Preferred (Nice to Have): - Hands-on experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT for day-to-day coding. - Experience with TypeScript end-to-end. - Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and background job queues. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
