Senior Node.js Backend Developer

As a Node.js Backend Developer / Technical Lead at Qentelli, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, customer teams, and internal developers to deliver efficient technical solutions in an Agile environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the development and maintenance of backend services using Node.js. - Collaborating with business stakeholders and customer teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Translating business requirements into efficient technical solutions. - Mentoring and guiding junior developers to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement. - Making strategic technical decisions and driving improvements in backend architecture. - Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Ensuring code quality through best practices in performance optimization, security, and maintainability. - Providing regular status updates to customers and project managers. - Advocating for and implementing modern development practices like CI/CD and DevOps integrations. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of professional experience in backend development with strong expertise in Node.js. - Solid understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and GraphQL services. - Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and server-side application development. - Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based project environments. - Proven experience in customer-facing roles or consulting engagements.
