Senior Node.js Backend Developer

As a Node.js Backend Developer / Technical Lead at Qentelli, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable backend services and APIs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business stakeholders and customer teams to gather requirements, translating these requirements into efficient technical solutions, and mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining high-performance backend services using Node.js while ensuring code quality through best practices in performance optimization, security, and maintainability. You will be expected to make strategic technical decisions, drive improvements in backend architecture, and participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure efficient project delivery. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong expertise in Node.js. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and GraphQL services, hands-on experience with microservices architecture, and proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and work in Agile/Scrum-based project environments will be essential. Previous experience in customer-facing roles or consulting engagements will be advantageous.
