Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced senior Node.js developer who takes responsibility of leading the development team and providing technical guidance on Node.js development. Experience levels: More than 6 years Preferred Qualification: Candidates with a bachelors/master's degree with relevant experience. Required skills: 5+ years of backend development experience with strong hands-on skills in Node.js and TypeScript Experience in leading or technically owning delivery within a development team Deep expertise in AWS, with focus on: Load Balancer (ALB/NLB) management AWS WAF setup and operations Security and scalability in cloud-native applications Production experience with MongoDB Solid Understanding of RESTful APIS and complex backed integrations proficiency with Git, Docker and CI/CD tools (E.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Nice to Have: Interest in learning Go (Golang) and expanding backend technology skills Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka) Exposure to IoT or Smart Home platforms Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, React, or similar Responsibilities: • Lead a team of up to 5 backend developers, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Work closely with the system architect to drive platform evolution and long-term technical decisions • Actively contribute to development, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives • Define and plan technical work in collaboration with stakeholders and team members • Promote engineering excellence: clean code, peer reviews, testing, observability, and CI/CD • Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to team members
