Senior Network Engineer - Data Center & AI Networking

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to drive the network infrastructure for complex AI and HPC projects, focusing on NVIDIA (Mellanox) and high-speed Ethernet/InfiniBand fabrics.

Core Responsibilities:

The Senior Network Engineer will ensure the high performance, availability, and security of mission-critical data center network infrastructure.
Network Design & Implementation
Design and configure advanced data center networks, including leaf-spine architectures, high-speed Ethernet, and InfiniBand topologies.
Deploy and integrate NVIDIA Networking (Mellanox) and Supermicro-compatible network hardware.
Implement robust strategies for network segmentation, QoS, and redundancy.
Remote Operations & Support
Provide expert remote L2/L3 network support for customer and data center environments.
Monitor network health using tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) and lead root-cause analysis for performance incidents.
Manage firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and strict change control protocols.
Security & Collaboration
Enforce network security policies and manage enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
Configure secure VPNs, ACLs, and efficient multi-site connectivity.
Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers and partners (NVIDIA, Mellanox) to align network architecture with system requirements.

Required Experience & Expertise
Experience: Minimum 10 years in network design, implementation, and support, preferably in data center environments.
Networking Protocols: Deep expertise in Layer 2/3, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and EVPN.
Data Center Hardware: Proven experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox networking (Spectrum switches, Cumulus Linux, InfiniBand) and familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista platforms.
Security: Strong background in firewall management and network security principles.
Automation (Plus): Exposure to network automation tools like or Python scripting.

CCNP / (Data Center or Enterprise Infrastructure)
Certified Networking Professional
JNCIP or equivalent
